The 22nd AACGE Western section Conference on Crystal Growth and Epitaxy

The 2010 AACGE meeting will continue the tradition of a highly interdisciplinary program with emphasis on an understanding of the fundamental nanoscale physics and chemistry that are central to the growth of crystals for a wide array of technologies.

Sessions will include but are not limited to:

• Low dimensional materials such as thin films, nanowires, nanoparticles
• Morphological evolution and factors influencing growth
• Biomimetic and electrochemical approaches to synthesis, including template driven growth, the effects of additives, and directed aggregation
• Stress evolution during vacuum and electrochemical processes
