A highly selective and sensitive monitoring system for the continuous detection and measurement of nitrogen trifluoride (NF3) leaks in the manufacture of photo voltaic solar cell manufacturing. Designed to respond in seconds to potentially hazardous leaks and releases, the PureAire Air Check Advantage NF3 monitoring system measures concentrations from 0-30ppm, yet does not react to Freon, Galden or other vacuum pump fluids. The system is ideal for monitoring gas cabinets, process tools, and other areas where NF3 may pose a danger to people or equipment.
The heart of the Air Check Advantage is a low-cost renewable electrochemical sensor linked to a compact pyrolyzer. Sample is drawn through the pyrolyzer where any NF3 present is converted to an electrochemically active gas and then measured by the sensor cell. Concentration information is displayed on a local readout and output as a 4-20 mA signal. Unlike many competitive NF3 detectors which measure the HF generated when nitrogen trifluoride is reacted, the PureAire system will not respond to Freon, Galden, Fluorinert, and other similar compounds.
Standard Air Check Advantage features include dual-level user-selectable concentration alarms, self-checking electronics and system fault alarm, and integral alarm relays. The system may be linked to PLCs, distributive control systems, or PureAire's proprietary single and multi-channel controllers. The system operates on 24VDC, and is housed in an IP 65 Nema 4X enclosure.
