Description :

The purpose of this school is to summarize some of the developments in the field of quantum phenomena in graphene, topological insulators and cold atoms in optical lattices and explore possible practical applications.

The main topics addressed will be:

  • Physics and applications of graphene
  • Condensates of cold atoms in optical lattices and excitons in two-dimensional semiconductors 
  • Strong correlations in low-dimensional systems.
