In 2009, a collaboration between a key group of fab managers and the PV Group was formed in order to improve the customer-supplier relationship for equipment and materials used in the cell and module manufacturing. The group presented a supplier assessment at the PV-FMF 2009, and a discussion was held with all involved parties in order to improve the current situation.

The PV Fab Manager’s Forum targets executives and business leaders from the PV industry; fab managers; lead engineers from wafer-, cell-, bulk silicon and thin film module manufacturers; plus executives, strategists, product managers and technical experts from suppliers to these industries.
