Merit are an Installation, Engineering and Facility Management company focused on high technology and complex industrial market sectors including, Semiconductor, Biotechnology, Nanotechnology, Pharmaceutical and Healthcare with offices in the UK, Germany and Australia.

We are a combination of an existing company, Merit Process Engineering, supported by a new management team with leading edge experience and knowledge of international Cleanroom Design, Construction, UHP Piping and Facility Management markets.

Merit have recently been awarded the design and build main contract for the Cleanroom and services for the new manufacturing facility in Dresden, Germany.

Merit have a longstanding association with the former Siemens 8” Wafer Fab which was restarted by Atmel in 2000. In 2007 Merit was awarded the £4m Facility Management contract for Atmel including 80 persons TUPE transfer.

The team has previous project experience of Cleanroom construction, Process Tool Hook-up and UHP pipe-work installation in Europe, Asia and the US for clients including IBM, Motorola and Philips. Merit have been working with major clients in the Pharmaceutical and Semiconductor industries since formation in 1993.

The company is growing rapidly in the UK, expanding into the EU and have commenced business activities in Australia, opening an office in Sydney, NSW.
