So, you want to display your very own, personalized copy (click here for an example) on your website? Easy! It only takes a few minutes and you don't need to write any code to create your own version. In fact, the only thing you need is access to your own website to paste the code into your chosen HTML page.

 

Simply log in to your account, scroll to the 'Event Calendar' section, click on 'Manage Events' and follow these 4 simple steps:

1. Add events to your profile.
2. Once added, events will be visibly linked to your account.
3. Preview your calendar.
4. Copy and paste the calendar code to your own website.

Q. Is there a limit to the number of events I can display in my personal copy of the events calendar?

A. No. You can list as many conferences, exhibitions, seminars and events as you like.

 

Q. What do I do if I know of an event that isn't available to add to my calendar?

A. With hundreds of semiconductor events taking place around the world, we are sure there are some we have missed. Simply suggest a new event using our handy form and, as long as it is relevant to the semiconductor industry, we will add it to the database.

 

Q. Is it difficult to insert the events calendar into my own website?

A. No. Once you have selected all your events and preview your work, simply copy and paste the code provided on the preview page into your HTML page. If you do not have access to your website, provide your webmaster with the code and ask them to add on your behalf.

 

Q. Do I need to insert the code into my site every time I update my events?

A. Once the code is in place on your website, you will never need to modify it or write a single line of HTML. Your entire calendar is managed through your Semi-Directory control panel and your personal copy will automatically update to reflect any changes you make.

 

Q. Will adding your semiconductor conference and events calendar to my site make it take longer to load?

A. Adding the code to your web page should add approx 70-100Kb to the overall size, depending on how many events are being displayed. On modern internet connections, this should add an additional 1-5 seconds to your page load time.

A. The ability to add custom events to the conference and events calendar is a feature we are currently developing and hope to launch in the very near future.
